The Studium Generale in the Master Program of Materials Science Program Pascasarjana Universitas Sriwijaya is designed as an academic forum that brings together students, lecturers, and invited experts to discuss current developments, challenges, and innovations in the field of materials science. This program not only provides broader insights beyond the classroom but also inspires students to think critically, engage in interdisciplinary perspectives, and connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in research and industry.
The Studium Generale was conducted on August 19, 2025, in conjunction with the welcoming ceremony for new students of Program Pascasarjana Universitas Sriwijaya, including those enrolled in the MasterProgram of Materials Science. This academic forum served as an important platform to broaden students’ perspectives beyond the classroom and to introduce them to current issues and developments in the field. The session featured Dr. Mukhtaruddin, S.E., M.Si.,Ak (Deputy Director for Genral Affairs and Finance Program Pascasarjana Universitas Sriwijaya) as the invited speaker, who delivered an inspiring and insightful lecture that enriched the knowledge of both new and continuing students. His contribution not only encouraged academic curiosity but also motivated students to actively engage in research and innovation within materials science.”
