In accordance with the Sriwijaya University Rector No. 0001/UN9/SK.LP3MP.MT/2023 concerning the appointment of the learning management team and education quality assurance at the Learning Development and Education Quality Assurance Institute (LP3MP) of Sriwijaya University, there is one lecturer in the Postgraduate Program who oversees education quality assurance.
The main task of the Postgraduate Program Education quality assurance is to carry out academic quality assurance related to the learning process in the Postgraduate Program, especially in the Master of Materials Science Program with activities such as:
- Preparation of teaching guidelines which include the appointment of teaching lecturers in the Master of Materials Science who are transparent according to the expertise of the teaching lecturers.
- Preparation of research guidelines for final project students of Master of Materials Science, appointment of supervisors and guidelines for conducting Master’s exams.
- Analyzing the quality of learning each semester.
- Assisting the preparation of forms in the documents of accreditation of the Master of Materials Science Program.
In terms of the above activities, the Quality Assurance Team of the postgraduate program is supervised by LP3MP Sriwijaya University.
Academic activities in the Magister Program of Materials Science are in accordance with the established standard operating procedure (SOP) manual.
Every year a survey is conducted on the learning process in the Magister Program of Materials Science. Surveys are conducted for each course and each lecturer.
